Pommidoro is designed to keep your focus data private.

Data Pommidoro Uses

Pommidoro stores timer settings, session history, session titles, tags, and appearance preferences on your device.

Starting with version 0.1.1 build 5, optional iCloud Drive sync includes session history and tags only. You connect iCloud in Settings and confirm before local history is merged into the signed-in account. A different Apple Account requires a new confirmation. Timer settings, appearance preferences, and active timers stay on each device. An opaque account identity is stored locally to detect account changes.

Earlier builds use Apple's iCloud key-value storage to sync settings and history when iCloud is available. Newer builds preserve local history and leave that old cloud cache untouched; they do not import it automatically because its account ownership cannot be verified.

Data Collection

The developer does not collect, receive, sell, or share your personal data. Pommidoro has no advertising, analytics, tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, or developer-operated backend. Data stored in your personal iCloud account is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy terms and is not accessible to the developer.

Notifications and Live Activities

If you grant permission, Pommidoro uses local notifications and Live Activities to show timer status and remind you when a focus or break period changes. These features are processed on your device.

Exports

When you export session history as CSV or text, the file is created locally. You decide where to save or share it.

Data Control

You can delete sessions and tags inside the app. Removing the app deletes its local data. iCloud data remains subject to your iCloud account and device settings.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Pommidoro changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
